How to claim dividend Procedure? In Case Same (unclaimed dividend) Has Not Been Transferred To IEPF
If a stockholders has not gotten a dividend in the following seven years and it has not yet been moved to the Investor Education & Protection Fund (IEPF), he or she can make a claim for the unpaid dividend using the following method: If a shareholder has an outdated Dividend Warrant (DW)/Demand Draft (DD) for the relevant years, he or she can send it to RTA with a request letter for reissue/credit in the bank account. Shareholders are asked to provide their complete bank details as well as a cancelled cheque leaf; if the bank details provided allow for the credit of the dividend amount "online," the dividend will be credited; otherwise, a DD will be issued/ obtained and sent to the shareholder at their most recent available address registered with the company. How to claim dividend? If the shareholder does not have DW/DD for the relevant years, he or she can claim the unclaimed dividend by making a request to RTA together with the following details/documents: Indemnity Bond in the appropriate form Folio number/Client ID & DP-ID Period for which unclaimed dividend has not been received (For copy of Indemnity Bond please click here) On receipt of this RTA, we will check the details and credit the amount / or issue a DD against the outstanding dividends from the unpaid dividend accounts with the appropriate bankers, as applicable.
